Tell me the chronology of events, have you clicked on a specific link? Instagram can be hacked by means of bruteforce, phishing, this social engineering that is often used by hackers. Maybe you have fallen into hacker traps such as installing certain applications, trying to visit malicious links
If your credentials have been saved, stolen, known to others or hackers, you can't prevent it because your credentials are already known, it's useless to mitigate it is too late. The solution is to report it to Instagram

Has there been a recent hack? If so, report it immediately. Then Instagram can help you, I've never had an account hacked, so be careful. The best thing you can do when your account is back
- Install 2FA
- Always change password
- Turn on security notifications
- Your privacy settings
A professional security also cannot help you if the credentials are known, because this goes into user default. As far as I know Instagram, it's still safe from exploit attacks, so it's most likely that you've been exposed to social engineering
*Note : i can't help you I'm not part of Instagram

Woho this like phone or call spoof its like email spoof. Has your phone number been shared? Chances are the hacker has profiled you so he can call you and make calls. This attack is still effective, so be careful with your data info, you can send datasets from hackers such as emails, attachments, etc., I can't help much, I'm lazy to explain in detail. Please contact me via Telegram : @bayjie if you want to ask a question or help maybe I can help prevent or give you a step

How to protect them?

1. Don't answer calls from unknown numbers. If you answer such a call, hang up immediately.
2. If you answer the phone and the caller - or a recording - asks you to hit a button to stop getting the calls, you should just hang up. Scammers often use this trick to identify potential targets.
3. Do not respond to any questions, especially those that can be answered with "Yes" or "No."
Never give out personal information such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, mother's maiden names, passwords or other identifying information in response to unexpected calls or if you are at all suspicious.
4. If you get an inquiry from someone who says they represent a company or a government agency, hang up and call the phone number on your account statement, in the phone book, or on the company's or government agency's website to verify the authenticity of the request. You will usually get a written statement in the mail before you get a phone call from a legitimate source, particularly if the caller is asking for a payment.
5. Use caution if you are being pressured for information immediately.
6. If you have a voice mail account with your phone service, be sure to set a password for it. Some voicemail services are preset to allow access if you call in from your own phone number. A hacker could spoof your home phone number and gain access to your voice mail if you do not set a password.
7. Talk to your phone company about call blocking tools and check into apps that you can download to your mobile device. The FCC allows phone companies to block robocalls by default based on reasonable analytics. More information about robocall blocking is available at fcc.gov/robocalls.

8. Block the phone number.
9. Disable unknown phone number in your phone.
10. Don’t share your phone number or any other personal data with anyone unless it’s necessary.
