Change permission into path in linux system

I have problem i was install tool on github but i can't modify souce issue must be root to modify

Chmod on your folder to change permission

You install tool using sudo?

Yes, sudo git clone repo.git

Use chown, chown user:user -R path or dir 

Use option -R for recrusive
